The Airvana Femtocell Service Manager (FSM) - provides operators with a TR-069 standards-based, scalable management and auto-configuration platform for HubBub™ femtocell deployments. It also allows operators to fully automate device configuration, initiate and manage remote software upgrades, and perform remote diagnostics using collected fault and performance data. Its extensible North Bound Interface enables operators to integrate HubBub deployments into their existing management infrastructure.
The FSM has two major functional components: a TR-069 Device Manager (DM), and an Automated Network Planner (ANP). The DM provides comprehensive remote management and monitoring whereas the ANP provides HubBub configuration algorithms and tools to optimize the end-user experience and minimize RF interference issues. With Airvana’s FSM, consumers and service providers have the assurance of consistent service delivery, no matter how complex the home or femtocell networks may become.
