AirVista for IP-RN

Product Overview

The AirVista 1xEV-DO Element Management System (EMS) provides scalable, web-based remote management for the EV-DO access networks built on the Airvana IP-RN Series.

AirVista has been developed using open standards and the latest technologies. The platform uses carrier-grade hardware from Sun Microsystems and relational database management software from Oracle. The secure web-based EMS client runs in any standard browser, offering network administrators a familiar and easy-to-use interface to robust operation, administration, maintenance and provisioning (OAMP) tools.

Powerful configuration management functions ensure seamless and secure provisioning of the EV-DO network elements and include auto-discovery and bulk processing functions and tools for reciprocal neighbor list checking. AirVista also includes features for end-to-end real-time fault detection, state management, and performance monitoring of the IP-RAN network, and provides a robust "northbound" interface for easy integration into existing operational support (OSS) and network management systems.

Additional features include user-friendly custom reporting functions, security management and system administration tools, graphical network topology views, and device panels providing real-time status information and diagnostic capability.  AirVista has been designed to allow operators manage their EV-DO radio access network infrastructure with optimal effectiveness and efficiency.
